Marula and Charcoal Soap

• The Marula tree is one of the most well-known, and important trees in the Bushveld Biome of Southern Africa.
• All parts of the Marula tree is used by humans and animals, the sweet, fermenting fruit in particular.
• The stone of the fruit is cracked to extract the seed, from which antioxidant-rich oil is cold pressed.
• Traditionally, this hard shell is used to make charcoal.
•  Swazi Marula oil and cleansing activated charcoal are combined with essential oils that are reminiscent of the evening in the Bushveld – when the heat from the earth carries the rich scent of dry soil, smoky bark and sweet flowers that have started opening for the moths that fill the night air.

• Veld-raised beef tallow,
• spring water,
• sunflower oil,
• coconut oil,
• sodium hydroxide,
• cold-pressed macadamia nut oil,
• cold-pressed Sclerocarya birrea (Marula) seed oil.
• Activated charcoal.

Essential oils of:

• Pimenta racemosa,
• Cedrus atlantica, C
• edrelopsis greveii,
• Cananga odorata,
• Syzgium aromaticum,
• Elettaria cardamomum,
• Citrus sinensis.
